The artist worked at night, ink on cotton, until the

birds stopped flying and started staying.

We make in fifties. We make once. Every chapter is fifty heavy-cotton garments, hand-drawn, screen-printed at midnight, dyed in copper buckets in Heliopolis. There is no Chapter I, N° 051 — only what you carry, and what stays.
